Junior Achievement of North Florida is a volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade focused organization that fosters work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and uses experiential learning to inspire students in our community to dream big and reach their potential. Recently JA of North Florida announced they will launch a $500,000 fundraising campaign in Alachua County to bring a JA BizTown Mobile experience to Alachua County 5th graders.
Our own Kirk Klein, who is a JA regional board member, is helping to bring BizTown Mobile to Alachua County. In addition, Koss Olinger will be opening up a “storefront” in the JA town and helping to teach children about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and being a good steward of money.
