The Legacy Optimizer™
Whether you’ve accumulated a modest estate or have been successful at accumulating a very high net worth, planning for your legacy once you are gone is a unique and sometimes complicated challenge.
Estate planning is not just about protecting your financial assets but also about preserving family relationships.
The process can feel overwhelming and often times people do not know where to start.
The Legacy Optimizer™ (LO™) is a goals-based process that helps you first focus on the big picture of what you want to see happen with your assets, family and charities when you are gone, then subsequently helps you develop a game plan of action items that will ensure your most important wishes are realized.
What is Estate Planning
The LO™ provides answers to questions such as:
- How do I optimize my plan without giving up control of my assets?
- How can we get all of our family members on the same page so that there is less conflict?
- How can I take complex planning techniques and make them understandable for me and my family?
- Are my children’s assets protected from divorce, creditors, etc.?
Other benefits of The Legacy Optimizer™ also include:
- Peace of Mind
- Less Stress
- Family Harmony
Your estate plan must start with what is most important to you and what you want to see happen when you are gone.
We begin by clearly defining your goals and objectives using a series of questions designed to clarify how you feel. Then we develop a game plan to help achieve those desired goals using the strategies and tools that fit your plan the best.
We map out a flow chart of how your assets would flow upon death to enhance your understanding of where the assets flow and to whom they will go. Next, we map out a second flow chart showing our recommendations based on your answers to our planning questions. We discuss all of the issues that must be considered when moving from your current plan to this new plan, which is more in alignment with you current objectives. Finally, we tweak the plan until it reaches a point where you feel comfortable.
It would be our pleasure to be a resource for you and your family. Please contact us to explore how we can help you get back to what matters most.
